I am so glad you stopped by. I am Heather; daughter of The Most High, redeemed by Christ, and I hold all of the typical female hats: wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, lover, friend, housekeeper, short-order cook, referee, nurse, guidance counselor, accountant, teacher, and so on and so forth. The past six years of my life were spent earning a B.S. in Psychology, so now that my time is freed up, I decided it would be a good time to begin homeschooling my kids and start a blog. Brilliant! My heart is being spilled out in the words I share with you as I encourage you to speak up about hurts you have been or are going through. I am seeking to live a life of authenticity in Christ, not only to speak volumes about the miraculous healing work of Christ, but to live a life of worth and substance. It is my desire to give women of faith a place where they can speak honestly about their struggles and receive strength and encouragement from other women of faith that have been there and done that. Please don’t think that I have all the answers, nor that I have reached full maturation in my faith – I haven’t. What I do have is a passion for reaching out to the suffering and building them up. After all, how can I love my neighbor and never reach out to her with compassion and empathy?
Abide in His Grace,
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
